About Atmavidya
Atmavidya is a systematic and traditional spiritual Online learning Initiated by Pujyasri Omkarananda Maha Swamigal in April 2019. This is a 5 Year Vedantic online course which has been developed by Pujyasri Omkarananda MahaSwamiji.
It is Pujyasri Swamiji’s Lakshyam that everyone should enjoy Peaceful Happiness and a systematic study of our Scriptures from a Sampradayavit Guru helps achieve that. Being a disciplined and methodical course, student will have to enrol and ensure that he/she attends each class before one can progress/access the next class.
The course has Five Subjects viz Vedanta Sastra, Upasana Sastra, Dharma Sastra, Yoga Sastra and Pada Sastra. While the first three are Compulsory, the last two subjects are optional. The Classes can be accessed at any time to suit your available time, but Regular attendance is required for continued access.
Periodic tests are administered to ensure that the student progresses as Envisioned by Pujyasri Swamiji. It is a test to guide and not to assess a student.
The course is free and has no fees and is designed for all people and ageswho are keen seekers, have a communication knowledge of Tamil and have good access to internet with computer or mobile devices. Voluntary Contributions will help cover the various cost aspects, but is Never a consideration nor is it connected in any manner to the course Access.
The classes are as per Tamil Calendar. No classes will be held on Ashtami, Chaturdasi, Amavasyai, Pournami, and Prathamai Three Batches have been initiated since 2019 and thousands of students are regularly attending these online classes.
